Pius Adesanmi was born to the family of Alfred and Lois Adesanmi in Isanlu of Okun Land on 27th February 1972. His earlier stage of life served as an inspiration for young, Olds, and students of his Alma mata in Ticombe, Egbe.
Pius Adesanmi had the charismatic and uniqueness that need to be awakening for celebration and a motive of Inspiration. Hence, He had brought the Okun people to the global world. As Donald Trump quoted in his tribute that ” Africa is not the owner of his corpse” It shows that Pius had lived a life that enticed the whole world.
And He was known to be a Nigeria – born Canadia academic author, and perhaps, the author of “Naija No Dey Carry Last” This alone made the Okun people unique and showed their charismatic value.
Pius Adesanmi was known to be an excellent and humble personality, whom he graduated from French department in Unilorin as first class student, before furthering to university of Ibadan for his master degree.
He became a professor of Literature and African Study at Cartelon University, Ottawa, in 2006. As an Okun blood, he stood up for another professorship in department of English and African Study in 2010.
He died died on 10 March 2019, when Ethiopian Airlines Flight 302 crashed shortly after take-off.
Meanwhile, his death, has brought shock to the heart of entire world, while Adeyeye Tomiwa paid a tribute to him that ” Your death came as shocker but your legacy remain evergreen”
The man who died at the age of 47 years while he was a professor for 13years. With this, his entire life needs to be remembered, and serves as an inspiration for Okun home and abroad.
