Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuhu,
I write to extend my heartfelt appreciation to everyone who contributed to my turbaning ceremony as Chief Imam of Ayegunle Gbede on the 12th October, 2024. Your presence, participation, and support significantly contributed to the success of the memorable event.
I would especially like to acknowledge the profound contribution of Hon. Justice Abdulkareem Aruwa, Grand Kadi, Sharia Court of Appeal, Kogi State, who officiated the Turbaning, and the Sultan of Sokoto, ably represented by the Ohinoyi of Ebiraland. Their involvement, alongside the presence of distinguished leaders and community members, was instrumental in making the occasion a true reflection of unity and brotherhood.
I say thank you to the Chief Host Hon. Salman Idris, our Royal Host, HRH. Haruna Lateef Folorunsho, and the planning committee members, who were committed, had a series of meetings, and worked tirelessly to ensure the event’s success.
And to all others who contributed, Although time does not permit me to mention everyone’s name, I acknowledge your contributions; your efforts were invaluable.
I appreciate all the support and prayers and look forward to working together in fostering the unity and growth of our community and upholding Islamic values.
Once again, I sincerely thank and appreciate everyone for your invaluable contributions to the success of the program.
