Afrobeats star Rema has taken the crown as the most-streamed Nigerian artist on YouTube in the first quarter of 2025, racking up an impressive 223 million views.

The data, shared by Nigerian music chart platform The Debut Hub, highlights the continued dominance of Rema’s hit catalog—most notably his global smash “Calm Down,” which recently made history by crossing the 1 billion total stream mark on YouTube.

His latest single, “Baby (Is It A Crime),” is also making waves, landing as the second most-streamed Nigerian song of the year so far with 14 million views.

Burna Boy, Ayra Starr, Davido & Wizkid Not Far Behind

Grammy winner Burna Boy holds the second spot with 171 million views, as fans eagerly await his upcoming eighth studio album, No Sign of Weakness.

Coming in third is Rema’s labelmate, Ayra Starr, with 169 million views—fueled by her latest hit, All The Love, which has dominated the charts in 2025.

Davido, a five-time Grammy nominee, secured the fourth spot with 113 million views, ahead of the release of his anticipated fifth album, 5ive.

Rounding out the top five is Wizkid, who hit 102 million views, helped by the buzz around the video for “Kese (Dance)”, a standout from his record-setting sixth album Morayo.
